TIMES JATIM, JAKARTA – Indonesia, especially Bandung, West Java has been well known with its tasty indigenous snacks made of tapioca flour. This place has dozens variety of tasty delectable treats made of this chewy flour. Without any further do, let's check it out. 

1. Cilok
Cilok was a tapioca ball made of just tapioca flour and corn starch. In the modern day they stuff the cilok with some cheese or some other thing. Cilok was made the way you made some meatball. 
It will be served with some peanut sauce, just ketchup or soy sauce. You could find it anywhere in the country, but you might find every vendor has different taste of cilok. The name of cilok was a short name for aci dicolok or literally means tapioca ball which was  puntured with bamboo skewer. 

2. Cimol
Cimol means aci digemol or tapioca flour which was made round with the two of your hands. Unlike cilok, cimol doesn’t need any simmering. After it was being made the cimol will need to be fried till it turn golden brown and has crisps outer layer.
This food was served with some sprinkle of spicy flakes or corn powder. Some will also have it with salt or other seasoning. But make sure you have it while it's hot to get the perfect chewy texture. 

3. Cireng
If you know pastel of Barzil, then you know this snack. Unless the dough and outer layer was made of tapioca flour that add a crisps and chewy texture. The cireng stuffed with the local dishes named oncom. Some will be very spicy and some has so-so level of spiciness. 
In modern day, the vendor used to stuff it with more variety of filling like chicken floss, minced of meatballs, sausges, cheese, and more. It will be served with the famous Indonesian peanut sauce. 

4. Cilung
Cilung is a portmanteau of aci digulung or rolled tapioca flour. The dough will be put on skewer and then will be rolled with fried crispy egg. For those who loves some exotic texture of egg and aci which will dance on your palate this snack of Bandun will be the perfect choice for you.
