TIMES JATIM, MALANG – Balekambang Beach is the perfect place in Malang to wait for the day’s fast to end during Ramadhan.

The visitors could enjoy the beautiful sunset in this beach that is located in Srigonco Village, Bantur.

The sunset at this beach has become the icon of Malang. The visitors could see the beauty of sunset from behind Pura Amerta Jati.

The Head of UPT (Technical Implementation Unit) Balekambang PD Jasa Yasa, H. Yasdi, said that the beauty of sunset has been the most favorite thing in Balekambang Beach.

 “During Ramadhan, Balekambang Beach is always crowded with visitors that want to enjoy the sunset while waiting for the day’s fast to end,” said Yasdi to TIMES Indonesia on Wednesday (15/5/2019).

He explained that the sunset is a natural potential in Balekambang Beach. “This is a blessing from God Almighty.” He said.

This potential will be well-developed by adding some photo spots at the beach.

 “We add more photo spots in this area, including the area of Ismoyo Island, and Pura Amerta Jati. Between those islands, the sunset can be seen,” he said.

Besides enjoying the beautiful sunset, the visitors could enjoy various culinary at the beach.

 “There are so many food stalls selling seafood and souvenirs.” Yasdi said.

Yasdi is optimistic that the sunset can attract more visitors to Balekambang Beach, especially during the Eid-al-Fitr holiday. (*)
