TIMES JATIM, YOGYAKARTA – TIMES Indonesia keep searching the perfect person to achieve their awards. This time, they awarded the Inspiring Figure of The Year Award of TIMES Indonesia to the Mayor of Sleman, Sri Purnomo.

The award was given directly by Director of TIMES Indonesia for west area, Bambang Heri Purnomo to Mayor of Sleman at the Mayor office on Tuesday (3/3/2020).

During his service, Sri Purnomo is known to be a Mayor who always follow information technology development. He installed several hotspot in several corner of the city for the community convenience.

The guy also make use the social media to share some good news to the community. On the other side, the smart city program is being built to ease the local community access to the government system.

The Mayor appreciated and so grateful that he could have Inspiring Figure of The Year Award for him. "I'm honored to have this award. A positif journalism like what TIMES Indonesia has is what the public need for now," the Mayor said. (*)
