TIMES JATIM, JEMBER – Jember is a regency of East Java province that is also known as “The Tobacco City” or “Bumi Suwar-Suwir”. This regency is a small city that has several hidden paradises, such as Papuma Beach.
Papuma Beach is located in Lojejer Village, Wuluhan sub-district in Jember. This beach is also known as Pasir Putih Beach or Tanjung Papuma.
This beach is around 40-kilometer away from the city center, taking around 1-hour-15-minute drive. However, you have to be ready to drive on sloppy roads as the beach is located behind the hills.

Papuma Beach is the best place to enjoy the exotic views, fresh breeze, and the stunning views of high coral reefs. The highest coral reef is called ‘Siti Hanggil’. If you want to reach the top of this coral reef, you only need to climb up the stairs.
In Papuma Beach, you may do some fun activities, such as diving, snorkelling, and camping. This beach is facilitated with clean toilets, food court, prayer rooms and several affordable inns.
